How to Shop at Rite Aid
Here’s another store where you can “buy” everything for free, or close to it.
Gathering the freebies at Rite Aid is done by their Single Check Rebate program, similar to Walgreens. Here’s how it works.
1. Monthly rebate offers can be found in the rebate directory located in the display rack at the front of the store. You may also find an in-store coupon book on that rack as well. Grab one.
2. Purchase rebate items for the month. This is nice. You may either do it in one trip, or spread it out over a month. The only drawback to this program is that you’re laying out cash for these items. However, you may stack in-store coupons with manufacturer coupons for rebate items which gives you greater savings.
3. Go to RiteAid.com and create an account. This will enable you to enter all required information from your receipts into your account.
4. At the end of the month, request your check. Rite Aid will only issue one check to each household per month, so keep your online records up to date after every purchase. When you’re done with your monthly rebate shopping, request your check and watch it arrive in about 2-3 weeks.
Rite Aid accepts four types of coupons: 1) those generated by the manufacturer and found in newspapers; 2) manufacturer’s coupons found in Rite Aid circulars; 3) Rite Aid store coupons, also known as “valuable coupons,” that also are found in Rite Aid circulars; and, 4) only those internet coupons that contain the official Rite Aid name and logo as authorized and recognized by Rite Aid.
