Finding Deals, Spending Less, Being Content

Homesteaders are the original preppers.  Prepping isn’t anything new, it has simply become trendy.  However, I do believe it’s a necessary trend given the state of our economy.   LDS’ers have this market cornered.  Here is a link to download their latest preparedness manual.  It covers almost everything.  http://www.tacticalintelligence.net/blog/free-download-lds-preparedness-manual-version-8.htm

Here are some of the people I’ve enjoyed learning from.  If you like them, you can always subscribe to their channels.  They all have very pleasant online personalities and are easy to watch.

This lady is the queen of dehydrating - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxVpIHre2ao

This sweet lady is one of the “old timers” who has taught me much more about canning and waxing cheese - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IjpY3Kv5mRY&oq=katzcradul%20cann&gs_l=youtube..0.5j0l2.112261.125470.0.130848.…1ac.1.11.youtube.Wy9plnDNGWM

David is ex-military and has tons of info. - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOm023jobrM

This lady has great recipes, especially for canning - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04gTKIEepxw

This girl (I say “girl” because I happen to know she’s under 30 :)  ) may seem a little rough around the edges, but she really knows her stuff!  She’s done medical missions and is a midwife to boot. - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZzIFAbdrUk

Misty is another “old-timer” I love to learn from.  She does it all old fashioned style! - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1W6pp2OjTHg

That’s it for the channels.  I like a lot more, but those are some of my favorites.  Then there are the occasional “freaky people” videos and the helpful videos.  I don’t subscribe to their channels, but have found one or two of their videos helpful.

This guy just cracks me up, but this is fascinating! - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=efO2X17M1Bk

Amazing info on being able to stock antibiotics.  You’ll be quite surprised. - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XhKNZInFvpQ

There’s so much more out there, but it’s all fairly easy to find, and it is important that you do your own research.
