You can score the following freebies at Kroger, at least in the DFW area.  Remember, these deals are only good with the Mega Event.  You must buy 10 items to get this price (mix & match).

French’s Mustard is 99 cents.  With 50 cent coupons collected from Sunday papers past (sorry, not sure which one) they’re free if your Kroger doubles.

Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers (in frozen veggies section) are also 99 cents each.  50 cent coupons double at my Kroger making them free!

This isn’t a freebie, but a cheapie if you feed neighborhood kids and other little people on occasion.  Totino pizza rolls are $2.49 for the 40 count.  Not a great deal, but if your store triples those 35c coupons they’re only $1.44/bag.

I scored 8 mustards, 9 steamers and 3 Totinos.  Total OOP=$4.32

Since you can’t do separate transactions, make sure all your coupons double/triple.   Usually the registers only double/triple the first three of like coupons.  My cashier had to manually reduce the total.

One last item to mention…my Kroger is discontinuing Bounty Basic paper towels and has them on clearance for $1.03 per roll.  Right now there are 25c Bounty coupons which triple so you only pay 28c/roll.  I stocked up on all I could.
