Do you keep a loose change jar? Remember you can always go to a Coinstar machine and trade it in for cash or gift certificates. Most of my area coinstars are located in Kroger stores.

    We go to our local bank to turn in our loose change. It is free and takes just minutes to do. Do you have to pay a fee for the Coinstar machines? I have never used one because it has always been so convenient to go to our bank, since they have numerous branches in town. I can’t recall seeing one in our town. Good idea Lisa!

    Our bank requires you to leave all your change. Then, I guess, they dump it into the counter when they have time and they only deposit it in your account. I found that to be awfully inconvenient. I’d rather have the cash now.
